
Mini-Grant Guidelines
The Calallen Education Foundation (CEF) Mini-Grant Program is designed to encourage and facilitate innovative and creative educational approaches to student learning throughout the school year with quick access to funding. Mini-grants must not exceed $500 and must enhance student academic performance and support the objectives, and initiatives of both the campus and the district.

Application Process:

The application consists of a 5-7 minute, informal presentation to the CEF Mini-Grant Judges. Applicants will submit a typed request form one week before the presentation via email so the education foundation is prepared and aware of how many applicants will be presenting for the month.

CEF Mini-Grant - Applications are due on the last Tuesday of every month. (one week prior to the presentation date)

Presentations will be held starting at 5:30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month – August 25, September 29, October 27, November 24, January 26, February 23, March 30, April 2 on Zoom on Microsoft Teams. ​

​Only one Mini-Grant per Educator per semester will be awarded.

​A decision will be provided within a week of the presentation via email. Successful applicants are prepared, creative and clearly explain the need, intent, impact, educational value and budget for their request.
